Coming Soon: A Lower Payout Minimum
You earned it and we want to get it in your wallet. Now, Creators can see the fruits of their hard work with a lower $50 minimum payout threshold — down from $100.
This phased rollout will be available to Partners and Affiliates as we introduce the new minimum country-by-country. Starting July 15, the $50 minimum threshold will be available in Argentina, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, and Taiwan — with more countries on the way in the coming months. We anticipate over 70,000 Creators will see more regular payouts once this is fully rolled out.
We understand how important it is for you to quickly access the money you earn from streaming. This lower $50 threshold is one important step towards creating a faster, easier payout experience. One day, we’d love for you to wrap up your stream and already have the money you earned from that stream in your wallet. As we aim for lower payout thresholds, we’re focusing on building a trustworthy, accurate, and globally accessible experience for everybody.
You can expect your money to roll into your account once the change comes to your country. Phased rollouts begin July 15 and continue monthly as we add new countries through November. Don’t worry, we’ll let you know when you become eligible for the $50 threshold. We’re releasing this month-by-month to ensure we do this correctly and can support the needs of Creators everywhere while we do it.
This lower $50 minimum is available through our most popular payment methods: ACH/direct deposit, eCheck/local bank, PayPal, and check. Processing wire transfer payouts will still require a $100 minimum due to transfer fees. If you’ve selected to hold your payout, we will continue to hold your earnings until you’re ready to receive them and change your selection. This is an important step towards creating a better experience for Creators and their communities. To leave feedback on this change, head to the Twitch UserVoice and make your voice heard.
