A. Yes, to all three!

Q. How long will a subscription be half off?

A. Only the first month of a new subscription is half off. After one month, the subscription will return to normal price.

Q. What about tax and VAT?

A. The 50% discount is on the base price of the subscription before any taxes are applied.

Q. When exactly is this happening?

A. Starting now and ending 11:59PM PDT October 18th

Q. I subscribed through the Twitch Mobile App/Twitch Desktop App/beta experience at go.twitch.tv but the subscription was full price. What should I do?

A. If you have purchased a subscription before 9/7, 10:15AM PT on these platforms, please file a support ticket here for assistance.

Q: What happens if I immediately cancel the subscription using the ‘CANCEL’ button and not the ‘DON’T RENEW’ button?

A: This will cancel your subscription immediately and issue you a refund within 48 hours. Your account will no longer be eligible for the half off promotion on this channel subscription.
