The Twitch community is known for rising to the occasion when disaster strikes. This time is no different as several broadcasters have already started uniting to fundraise for those affected by Hurricane Harvey. You can support the cause by signing up to raise money for those affected by Hurricane Harvey or by donating to the charities on any of the community’s campaign pages!

Here are some respected charities responding to Hurricane Harvey that you can support.

• American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief and education in the United States.

• Direct Relief’s approach to disasters is to support the immediate needs of people by working with local partners that are best situated to assess, respond, and prepare for long-term recovery.

• Save The Children responds to emergencies across the globe and in the United States, looking after the unique needs of children in emergencies. They make sure children and communities have what they need to recover.

• Team Rubicon unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams.
