Community Spotlight Returns with Pokémon Anniversary Week!
The Twitch Community Spotlight is back! Our goal with this program is to shine a light on some of the awesome communities on Twitch by promoting the broadcasters who make these communities special on our front page and in our social media. In short, we want to find streams that want to be the very best, like no one ever was, and this time we’ve gotta catch ’em all.
With the 20th anniversary of Pokémon’s original release just around the corner on February 27th, we’re officially celebrating the Pokémon community on Twitch all week! Our amazing community development team has helped us find some of the best leaders and up-and-coming talent in this community to promote (names like aDrive, Gunnermaniac3, AuSLove, jyggy11, the “National Pokemon League” stream team, and many more), but if you love Pokémon and plan on streaming it, you also have a chance! We’ll be keeping an eye out all week for Pokémon broadcasters who showcase an awesome stream/community and giving them promotion on the Twitch front page with this thumbnail:
Viewers, keep a look out for that icon and watch out @Twitch Twitter account to join in the Pokémon celebration and find some of the best talent streaming in this community!
